Graham Coxon: 'Blur shows were getting tedious without new material'
Blur's Graham Coxon says the band couldn't have done any more shows without new material.
The band are headlining British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park on June 20 and have hinted at further shows. Asked about playing live, Coxon said: "We just couldn't have done any more shows without some new material. It was getting tedious, and some of the fans were getting peeved about it."
Damon Albarn revealed that Blur will play gigs in Scotland and Wales prior to their Hyde Park date in London this June.
This makes me happy and cant wait to hear the new album.....
